Social dancing is at the heart of what we do at Elegant Dancing. To lead, to follow, to move spontaneously to music is the highest form of partnership dancing. Whether with a spouse, a loved one, or a brand new acquaintance, social dancing strengthens relationships and take us out of our daily selves.

There are so many opportunities to enjoy and practice what you’re learning at your private and group lessons. Join us every Wednesday, 8-10pm, and Friday 8-10pm for General Dancing, open to the public. Though never required, most attendees enjoy changing partners in order to meet new people and hone their skills as leader and follower. Dancers of all levels, couples and singles are all welcome. All we ask is that you bring your best self as you enter our world of “ladies and gentleman”. The cost is only $15 for Wednesdays and Fridays .

We are currently hosting several Saturday Evening Dance per month. Join Javier & Mariel, Belinda, Alex & Amanda, and Cristian & Kamila to enjoy a free class at the beginning, and a dance party, and often Karaoke. There are also opportunities to focus on your club Salsa and Bachata, West Coast Swing, and Argentine Tango in our newly open “Donahue Room”. Elegant Dancing boasts a 10-year tradition of fantastic, upbeat Theme Parties to celebrate holidays and special events. The December holiday party is a “not-to-miss” yearly event, followed weeks later by the best New Year’s Eve party around. Halloween, Spring, Winter…any excuse will do for a special fun-themed dance party!
